Golden Respite Ministry

The Golden Respite Ministry was established in February 1999. The purpose of this ministry is to provide some “away from home fellowship” for the senior citizens of Mt. Zion.

Our goals are to provide families some relief from the care of their older family members and also provide some Christian fellowship with opportunities to engage in enriching activities. Activities include bible study, exercise, social outings and much more. We meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10am-2pm.

The ministry motto is: “Helpless, hurting persons are our responsibility. We are to help and love them in the name of Jesus Christ, with the resources He provides.”
